  • Expecting the U. S. government, politicians, Congress or U.S. Presidential administration  to act alone in bringing the United States out of its economic tail spin, is a deadly and selfish thought by U. S. Citizens.  We need more individuals, organizations and corporations to step up and do their part.  Visit the President Awards Volunteer Cafe to see how you can help unemployed neighbors in your community get back to work.

If you don't have time to volunteer, consider purchasing 10 copies (or whatever you can afford) of Win the Race for 21st Century Jobs by Rod Colon and give them out to job seekers who cross your path.  Donate the books to a church or community organization.  Corporate Human Resource departments can purchase 50 or more discounted copies to give to exiting staff.  Staffing, consulting and recruiting companies can increase job landings to satisfy more client requirements by giving out this book to candidates in a job search.  Online job boards and employment social networks, like LinkedIn, Monster, The Ladders and CareerBuilder, can sky rocket their community friendly reputation and keep stock holders happy by distributing this book to premium membersI had the distinct honor of writing the "foreword" in this fast selling book that has helped many people land jobs.

As acting Executive Director for Empowering Today's Professionals, my first leadership initiative is spearheading a search for an Executive Director.  Please shoot me a note for a copy of the Executive Director job description for
Empowering Today's Professionals , if you know someone that has the mind set of an entrepreneur or intrapreneur, with senior management non-profit experience.

OK, let's not make a big deal out of it. As a directive of its Executive Committee, I have had to step up as acting Executive Director for
Empowering Today's Professionals (ETP).  As if being Chief Operations Officer wasn't enough.

I thoroughly embrace the opportunity to continue my pro bono leadership services to the thousands of global community career professionals, CEO of ME, Inc. business owners, supporters, advisors, faculty leaders and volunteer members who support
Empowering Today's Professionals. As ETP Founder Rod Colon always says, "It's the right thing to do" to get America back to work.
